How Long Will My First Visit Be?

Your first visit will be approximately an hour and a half long since we will need to perform multiple exams and you will spend time with the doctor. What to expect on the first visit

You will sit down with Dr. Sala to discuss your goals and he will perform a comprehensive exam to evaluate the health of your teeth and gums. If necessary, he will take a set of X-rays for your file. The first visit includes:

  • Comprehensive tooth and periodontal exam
  • Jaw joint exam
  • Blood pressure check
  • Oral cancer screening
  • Question and answer session with the doctor

I have had an amazing experience with them so far! I’ve had some traumatizing childhood and even into adulthood dental events with high anxiety and panic attacks which led to me avoiding the dentist for 5+ years. I was very nervous, but Dr. Steve personally took me from the waiting room and really took his time and explained everything. Went back for fillings and a root canal (which I was terrified of) and both Dr. Steve and his assistant checked on me constantly and made sure I was okay the entire time. We found someone that truly listens, and cares. Dr. Stephen sets an appointment to explain in detail what has to be done and what to expect procedure wise as well as financially. No one has done it before what Dr. Stephen does at his practice. We had some bad experiences before, but hopefully no more. He measures and carefully checks individually each and every tooth.
